Overview

This article provides information about the error which occurs during installation. The following error is displayed:

Failed opening required __swift\config\config.php

Information

If you get this error when running the installation, it is most likely that you have not renamed config.php.new to config.php in the following folder:  __swift\config.

The configuration file is named config.php.new by default to prevent overwriting during upgrades.
